Poem

Today we had to make a poem about our trip to the Brunner mine historical site. We had to include language features the Language features I have used are alliteration,  onomatopoeia and personification. We had the choice of doing our poem in a google drawing and recording us reading it or writing our poster out on paper. I chose paper.

Area and Perimeter

This week we had to make a DLO about Area and Perimeter. We had to explain what area and perimeter is and add an example . We had to make it black and white. I did this task interdependently and i think it worked really well.

Hannah's Book Review

This week we had to write a book review on any book of our choice. I chose Hill and Hole By Kyle  Mewburn. We had to include what age recommendation, Characters, Author, Title And the problem.

Roman Numeral DLO

This week in groups of 2 My group was me and Taylor. We had to make another DLO because we finished early We choose to do Roman Numerals. Our W.A.L.T was Learn how to use roman numerals and what they mean. We found this task hard because we didn't know much about roman numerals. We learnt what they mean and how to use them. Next time we think that we should come up with a more complex W.A.L.T. My next goal is to learn more about adding fractions 

Maths DLO

This week  In groups of two I was in a group with Taylor and we got to pick what kind of DLO we wanted to do. We  choose  to make a DLO about Perimeters. We had to make a W.A.L.T  ( We are learning to)  and we had to add an explanation about what a perimeter is. In this task we explained how to work out the perimeter of a shape. Our W.A.L.T was Know what a perimeter is and find the perimeter of a shape.

This week for writing we had to choose a famous rock formation. I chose Split Apple Rock. What we had to do is find out information about your rock and present it in a google drawing. I enjoyed this task because I enjoy researching and putting texts into my own words. Next step learning would be to find more information about the rock and use more descriptive words
