this  week for chapter chat I made a choose kind poster  that we have to put up around our school  this week for literary we have been focusing on fossils i have done a task that i have been set for fossils and archaeology where we had to explain what fossils are how they are formed and lots more this week for maths we had to make 3d shapes this involved colouring paper and folding the shapes and gluing them tougher i have done a cube and a hexagon

this is my maths i have done this week the purpose of this was of this was to type the meters centre meters and milometers  i have used a google slide present my work for chapter chat this week  i choose the task where you had to make a Halloween costume for august i choose to do this task with shilah and i choose  a wizard and i paper mashed it

this week for maths one of my tasks was to draw a ginger bread house from chalk on the concrete

this term we have started chapter chat again this time we are reading wonder so  for chapter chat this week we had to make a poster any way you want i chose to cut pictures out of a magazine and stuck them on a bit of paper to match the wonder book cover

For the past 2 weeks we have been very busy making products for PREP today is prep market and sadly the last day of prep my group is called galaxy gang and we are making galaxy paintings and galaxy bottle cap magnets they have taken us a long time but they look amazing.  


This week for maths we had a slide about grouping we had to drag the amount of some animals it said in to some boxes here is my slide.

this week for word work We had the word of the week which is when there is a word which this week  was encyclopaedia and we need to find words in it i have found over 20 words.

reflections term 2 week 2

This week is book week yay!!!  every day we had a picture quiz and we had to find the logo to the picture on Wednesday we had wacky Wednesday and on Friday which is today it is book character day and here is a photo of my costume that I wore can you guess what I am ?

 
For word work I played a game of hangman with Zaheer  and Jamie it was really fun  I have use a website to do my work next time im going to try not to look at the words when I try and guess the word.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

weekly reflections week 1 term 2

This week we did a poem about Anzac day and i'm very proud of it  we had to write a draft of  diamante poem about ANZAC day  in our literacy book and then publish it in a google drawing on our Chromebook.

We also stared chapter chat again  this time we are reading Ms Bixbys last day the activity i did was interviewing a teacher I interviewed Mrs Clark different questions

 
We also did typing skills like last term the game I played we had to type the right letter but if we didn't do the right letter we had to wait five seconds till we could move again here is an image of the game

term 1 reflections and goal for term 2

This term my favourite part  was making a zen tangle bunny it was really fun because we had to draw all these patterns and we were not allowed to colour it in.

Goals for term 2
1 get a restricted licences which means you can work anywhere in the classroom or on the landing
2 be able to complete all of my multiplication under 6 minutes.

This term was really fun and I hope next term will be as fun as this one.
The goal i achieved this term is to learn how to use my Chromebook properly  

this week in topic we were doing writing. about if we think  coal mining benefits the word or is bad for the world I thought its bad for the world

for reading we have been reading a  book called Toby mouse and Isoble its about a mouse named Toby and a cat and Toby goes out to find food for his sister but the cat chases Toby into isoble's  hand and she goes inside and make Toby a bed and a mouse pie for him to eat then she shows her dad Toby but he went trough a hole in her hand a hole in a verandah and went back to his house and Isoble went and made another mouse pie and put it under  plum tree and in the morning it was gone

for reading we had some  sentences  that we had to answer   that are said in the book and we had to write in what was  said in the book I have used a google slide to present my work.

This week we did cycling with Constable Jos first he talked to the class about wearing a helmet is against the law if you dont you can get a 55 dollar fine . Next we did cycling on the courts and Mrs Clark was holding up pictures of cars, trucks,motorbikes and bikes   and we had to look behind us and tell her what the pictures were. after lunch we cycled on the road we had to wear a bright orange vest so if cars were behind us the could see us. there was a parent at each corner i think i need to work on looking behind me before i turn the corner i am proud that i can ride a bike
